LOVE

Hello crafters! Today I am showing you a card I made using the filled with love stamp set.  A couple of days ago, I discovered a blog called Clean & Simple Stamping, where they have different challenges.  I came across one of their previous sketch challenges and designed this card around the sketch.  I thought it came pretty cute.  Hope you enjoy!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #59

Hi everyone! It's Cricut Cardz Challenge time for Design Team 2 again.  This week's theme is to make a Valentine's Day card for the child using any colors or cartridge.  I used the Simply Charmed cartridge, using the love bug image from page 31 of the handbook.  I used specialty designer paper from K&Company.  I cut out the My Valentine sentiment from the designer paper, which was challenge because I am not good at cutting out images by hand.  Also, I used some Very Vanilla cardstock as one of my layers.

Join us over at Cricut Cardz Challenge to play along and get inspired from all the great designers.

Be My Valentine

I am up so late.  I have really felt like crafting tonight.  At least I got my homework assignments completely, now I just have to finish my project that is due tomorrow.  I made this project to submit into the  Clean and Simple Stamping sketch challenge.  I used the Filled with Love stamp set from Stampin' Up.  I cut the the lips, square and scalloped square using the slice machine.  I used the K & Company Valentine Designer Paper for my layer.  On the inside of the card, I used an Anna Griffen vellum quotes, love and romance collection. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Card

Happy Sunday!  Today, I have a card that I made using the Layering Card Kit.  I got this kit last year from HSN.  It was made by Imagine That! Designs and designed by Dena Designs.  I love this card kit.  You can make quick and beautiful cards for all occasions, even cards that are suitable for children.  What do you get in the kit.  It comes with a pretty storage box that you can place your finished cards.  Also, the kit has pre-cut papers, borders and embellishments and can be mixed and matched to create 60 different cards.  The kit includes adhesive foam pop-dots.  The kit includes coordinating envelope liners.  This kit is perfect for beginner card makers like myself.  Here is a card that I put together.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #57

Do you know what time it is? It's time for Cricut Cardz Challenge.  For this week challenge, we have to make a card using the colors black, white, and red and we can use any cartridge.  In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I decided to use the Tie the Knot cartridge.  I used the corset image.  I figured that this would be nice for maybe a naughty suggestion for your significant other. I cut the image out at 3.25 inches.  I used a heart border punch from fiskars ( I hope I spelled this correctly).  I really had some fun creating this card.  Join us over at Cricut Cardz Challenge and participate in this week's challenge!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Challenge

I am super excited today. Robyn aka My Pink Stamper is having a challenge to select 2 design team member.  The other design team members have been previously selected and decided to have a challenge to select 2 additional members.  For the challenge, we had to make a card, scrapbook layout or other project using pink, green, brown, and another color of our choosing.

For the challenge, I decided to make a Happy Birthday Kit.  I got this idea from Janelle over at SplitCoastStampers, but I placed my own spin on the kit (Janelle did a date night kit).  My daughter is turning 4 on Tuesday and I thought that a birthday kit was a great idea (especially since she's been telling everyone that it's her birthday since Christmas).

I used brown DCWV cardstock for the card base.  On the inside cover, I made a pocket that can be used to place a CD or a DVD.  I used a blank CD for project purposes.  In addition, I used the same gift card to show the pockets of the Happy Birthday Kit.

Supplies Used
  • Yummy Cricut Imagine Cartridge
  • Pink Cardstock - Recollections
  • Brown Cardstock - DCWV
  • Stickles
  • I-Rock
  • EK Success Punch (I don't remember which Scallop punch)
  • My Pink Stamper "Everyday Occasions" stamps
  • Brads
  • Circle Punch
  • Pink Ribbon
