Twilight Layout

Hello Crafty Friends - I was going through my pictures and I noticed that most of my pictures are of my daughter being silly.  So, I decided to do some layouts that gives people some insight about who I am.  So, I decided to start with my favorite movies.  Twilight is my first favorite movie for the mini album.  I forgot to add some journaling, but I will most likely do another page that will include some journaling.  I hope you enjoy the layouts.

Imagine Blog Hop

Good Morning,

First I would like to thank Sandra for allowing me to be in the Imagine Blog Hop.  This is my very first blog hop.  If you came over from Kristin's blog, then you are in the right spot.  If not the blog hop starts at Sandra's blog.  For this blog hop, all we had to was make a project using the Imagine.  Tuesday was my birthday (but it became my daughter's production) and I decided to make a birthday layout using the Yummy Imagine Cartridge.  I used my Big Shot to cut out the tag and I created the pocket behind the photo mat.  The lines on the tag was created using the Notes and Details stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I love my Imagine! I was able to create my project within an hour.

Sandra is having a giveaway the Grand Prize, which is Peachy Keen and Scrappy Moms stamps, on her blog and all you have to do is leave a comment on everyone's blog that participated in the blog hop.

I am giving away the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge.  All you have to qualify is follow this blog and leave a comment in this post.  Please note:  Shipment will only be in United States.  The giveaway will close on Monday. You can visit my facebook page here.

I am the last stop in the Imagine That Blog Hop, however, if didn't start at the beginning here is Sandra's blog 365 Days of Cricut.

Pop Up Box Card

Hello Crafters,

Here is a pop up box card that I made.  I took a piece of 8x8 cardstock and scored at 4" so there are 4 boxes.  On box was scored diagonally to be able to fold the card.  Another box was cut up to the score line and used to make the bottom of the box.  I am hoping to do a tutorial soon.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #65

It's time to showcase projects with Design Team #2 over at Cricut Cardz Challenge.  For this week's challenge, make a tall card (9" x 4") using any cartridge, theme or colors you like.

For my project, I decided to use the Give a Hoot cricut cartridge.  I went out of my comfort zone a little for this project.  I have used my original cricut cartridges with my imagine before, however, I never really used patterned paper on my images (unless it was an imagine cartridge picture).  So, I used Lori's Garden along with Give A Hoot.  I cut the owl out at 3.5 inches and I used pattern paper on the mouth, tummy, and wings.  I have to say I think it turned out great!.  Also, I cut the phrase Give A Hoot out at 2.1 inches on the Imagine.

Please join us over at the CCC and play along with us!
