Hi Crafters! I was playing around with some sketches from CPS-Card Sketches and I came up with this cute card. I stamped the sentiment in Creme Brulee ink and it didn't come out so clear, but it says "I'm so proud of you!".

Hello crafters! Today I have a card for you that I made using Sweet 'N Sassy Let Go and Let God stamp set. I just love this set and I really needed it this week. I had to put some things in God's hand and let him handle the situation. Only God knows my heart, and people are going to have to answer to him when judgment day comes.

I used a sketch from CPS, but I didn't have time to enter it into their Anniversary challenges. Also, I am entering this card into the Sentimental Sundays challenge where the theme is to focus on the sentiment.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #102 (2012-23)

Happy Wednesday! As I write this post, I am still under the weather. I will be happy when I get rid of this cold. Today is challenge day for Cricut Cardz Challenge over at Cardz TV. This week theme is "A Stitch in Time". We had to make a card with stitching or faux stitching, using any cartridge or colors. I used a sketch from Card Positioning System for my card. I used the Cricut Imagine and Best Friends for the image and to print the color cardstock. I cut an extra red balloon to pop for some added dimension. I used the Cardz TV Stamp Set "Make a Wish" for my sentiment.

For my project, I decided to make goodies box that I downloaded from the silhouette store. I also downloaded the heart shape cookie. I used the Sweet Talk Stamp Set for the sentiment. I love this stamp set and it's so versatile.

Happy Thursday! Today I have a card for you using my Cameo and SCAL. I am really getting into using SVG files. I wonder if Cricut is feeling the pressure from the competitors because it seems like alot of crafters are getting into SVG files and the Cameo.

For this card, I used SVG files from SVG Attic and Lettering Delights.
I used the tent cards SVG files from SVG Attic for the card base. The frog is from Lettering Delights "Frogs and Kisses" SVG file. I added some googly eyes and pop the froggy up on some dimensionals.

I used the Pink By Design Be Mine stamp set for the sentiment and created the flag on one end.

Hi crafters! Today is challenge day for Cricut Cardz over at Cardz TV. This week's challenge is to make a Valentine's Day cards using any cartridge or colors that you like.

For my card, I used the Better Together cricut imagine cartridge. I just love the images on the cartridge. I used a sketch from Card Patterns to make this card. I love using sketches because it takes the guest work from making your card and your hardest decision is to decide which stamps and die cuts to use.

Also, I used the Sweet Talk stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps.

Good Morning! Today's post is bitter sweet. This is my last week as guest designer over at Skipping Stones Design. I really had a blast working with everyone! Thank you Jennifer for allowing me to work with your stamp sets and to Pamela for providing some great sketches this month.

For this week's sketch challenge, I used the Funny Coffee stamp set. I colored in the cup sleeve with a crumb cake marker. I wanted to incorporate some buttons, and I used the neutral collection from SU!.

I am also entering this card in the sentimental sundays challenge blog where this week's theme is dry embossing.

I had so much fun with this sketch that I decided to make another card using Grunge and Fangs or Fur stamp sets. I have a video on this card that will be posted later on today.

Today is DT day over at Cardz TV! I am so excited for this week's theme! It's a guy thing! I don't have too many guys in my life, there are mostly women in my family. Seriously, I can count the men on two hands.

I love how this card turned out. I used two techniques: masking and brayering. I used my Cameo to cut out the mountains, grass, and the cowboy. Don't you just love how you can just purchase the images that you want instead of paying $40-$80 for a cartridge. I used the Cardz TV "It's A Guy Thing" stamp set.

Heart Pouch (2012-14)

It's hump day! I have a cute little project for you today. I came across a heart pouch that someone had made using some heart dies and I wanted to make my own with a twist. Using my Cameo, I cut these hearts and I cut the brown heart twice to create the pouch. You are going to want to use sticky strip for the pouch.

I used some Bo Bunny ribbon to line the edges of the heart. Again, use some sticky strip to keep the ribbon from coming off. I used the Be Mine stamp set from Pink By Design. I added some pearls for some added accents. On the inside of the pouch, I punched two holes to add some ribbon and it's ready to be hung outside your love one's door for V-Day!

For my card, I used the Funny About Men stamp set. I love this set! It's so funny and charming. I used a paper from Hobby Lobby called Fairy Princess. I used my Stampin' Up! markers to color in the frog. I love how this card came out! I hope you give Skipping Stones Design a try!

Elegant Treat Box (2012-12)

Hello crafters! I have another silhouette project for you today. I have to say that I am really enjoying my new Cameo. I just love it! I found this really cool treat box (or bag) in the silhouette store. The one thing I love about the Cameo is that all of the score lines are done for you without it looking too obvious. I used the latest K&Company Valentine's Day paper pack for my box. To keep the box closed, I added some velcro.

In a project that will go live on Wednesday, I had some left over hearts nd incorporated them into this project. Using the Pink By Design Flirty Girl stamp set, I added my sentiment in two steps. I used some Recollection paper roses and finished the box off with some victorian lace ribbon from Stampin' Up!

Olivia Enters Crafting (2012-11)

Hello Crafters! What do you get when add the Cameo, Nick, Jr, and Pink By Design Stamps? One cute card. That's right! Olivia has entered my crafting world. When I say this in the Silhouette store, I had to have them all. My daughter loves Olivia and I knew that she would love to receive this card.

This is the first project I am posting using my Cameo and I have to say that I completely love it! Poor Cricut seems to be getting neglected but what can I say except that it's great to only buy the images that you want and don't have to spend a lot of money doing so.

For my card, I used the Cameo machine and the Olivia and Julian image. Also, I used the Pink by Design Script stamp set and the Be Mine stamp set. I absolutely love this card. There will be more Olivia cards coming because I brought 19 of the images. I may call it the Olivia Series.

Hello Crafters!! Today is the day for another Cricut Cardz Challenge on Cards TV. The them is "It's June in January" and make a card for any occasion using any cartridges or colors, with Summer as your theme.

For my card, I used Enjoyed the Season Cricut Imagine Cartridge. The pattern for the card is a matchbook style card that I got from the Wishes Card Confidence Program. I cut the image out at 3", twice for layering. In order to keep the side closed, I added two buttons. The sentiment is from Pink By Design Summer Vacation.

Happy Tuesday! It's back to work for me, but I rather be at home crafting. This month I am guest designing over at Skipping Stones Design. You must check them because they have some extremely great stamps that are are both cute and funny.

Here is the sketch this week that we are using:

For my card, I am using the Grudge stamp set. I stamped the wood background using Creme Brulee ink and punched out the circles using a 1 3/8 circle punch. Using Juniper ink, I stamped the sentiment Thanks. The card base is Colonial White and I sponged the edges with the Creme Brulee. I used some pattern paper from the Typeset paper pack and used a distressing tool around the edges. Lastly, I added some crinkle ribbon to finish off the card.

I wanted to add another embellishment, so I added the clip to the the calendarI sponged everything in Rich Cocoa ink. I really love how this card came out.

For my card, I used the Margarita Birthday stamp set. I paired this stamp set with the Sonoma paper pack from Close to My Heart. I used some vanilla ribbion that I had in my stash and decided to dirty it up with some Rich Coca ink. I decided to add a SU! Antique Brad, which I cut the back off and used glue dots to adhere to the ribbon.

I wanted to take this time to wish everyone a happy and safe New Year. I have had a fabulous year and looking forward to another fabulous year. As I reflect on my accomplishments and defeats, I am looking for ways to improve myself for 2012 as a Christian, a mother, a daughter, a professional, and an artist. The one thing that is big on my list 2012 is to become more organized. I have had to clean out my craftroom for pest control and I am not looking forward to putting everything back. I have learned that I have too much crafting supplies that I did not use. I purchased this book sometime ago called "Organize now! A week by week guide to simplify your space and your life. This is perfect for me because I want a more organized home and craftroom that I can function in.

This is just my little spill for what's to come in the new year!

Happy Wednesday! Sorry that this post is alittle late but I was so tired last night trying to work on a paper for school that I forgot to set this post.

Today is challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge at Cardz TV! This week's theme is "A Caroling We'll Go!" You have to make a card based on your favorite holiday song. You can use any cartridge or colors you like.

For my card, I used Snow Angels and Elegant Edges. The sentiment is from Pink By Design Old Time Christmas. My favorite Christmas Song is Luther Vandross' Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. As an added accent, I added a button and some twine.

Happy Sunday! I wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to make some changes in my life. I have decided to resign from Stampin' Up! As a demonstrator, we get an advance copy of the catalogs. The next catalog to be released in January was disappointing to me and the prices have gone up too high. I felt I the sets were recycled images of pass sets. Lately, all I seemed to be buying was accessories and paper and not stamps.

As they say "when one door closes another one opens", I decided to now work with Close to My Heart. After careful consideration, CTMH is the company that is going in the direction of where I am at in my crafting. I love their stamps and the cricut bundle is great! I wish I had went with CTMH when I was deciding on which company I would go with. I am happy with my decision. I am creating a new blog just for CTMH and will update everyone once I get it going.

Happy Wednesday! Today is challenge day over at the CCC on Cardz TV. This week's challenge is "Christmas: Say it with S!" Make a card for Christmas using an image that starts with the letter S, using any cartridge(s) and any colors you'd like.

For the challenge, I made a 5.5 by 5.5 square card. I used the Cricut Craftroom and the Cricut Mini to create the image for the card. I actually did a video and I will post later on today.
I used Jolly Holidays for my Santa/Sleigh combo, which is layered on a 5.25 by 5.25 piece of cardstock. I used the Fa la la la paper pack from Recollections. I added some white cardstock to make some snow. It was embossed using the Snowflake cuttlebug folder. I decided to add some bling to the sleigh because Santa has the right to be blinged out, right! For my sentiment, I used Cardz Tv Stamps "Home for the Holidays" set, which can be purchased here!

Over the past few months, I have not had time to do any real scrapbooking. Between other crafting obligations, home, work, and school, it's hard to think about scrapbook project I would like to do. Today is an exciting day! It's the very first challenge for the Cardz TV Stamps. This week's challenge is "Just My Style". I love everything about crafting and trying different techniques and card folds, but I love clean and simple cards. I love it because it's quick and easy to mass produce.

I used the "Make a Wish" Cardz TV Stamp Set for my project. I used the top note die from Stampin' Up to create my purse. I used the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge for the paper flower. After adding some ribbion, our top note purse was born!

#68 "Let's Talk Turkey" PCC Challenge

Happy Friday! Today is challenge day over at the Paper Cutz! This week's challenge is,

"Let's Talk Turkey!" Make a card, LO or craft project for Thanksgiving, using a stamped, digital stamp or Cricut cut image of a Turkey . Use any colors you'd like.

For my project, I made a layout for this year's Thanksgiving. I have never documented too many holiday gatherings because things usually get a little crazy or I forget to take my camera. I used the Let's Talk Turkey digital kit from My Memories. I wanted to print out the layout to add some stamping, but I am currently at my mother's house and her computer was acting funny.

I am loving digital stamping, scrapbooking, and even making hybrid cards. For my layout, I added the 2011, in order to remember which Thanksgiving I am documenting. The background paper is Turkey feet. I added a scalloped edge and some brads. I added some stitching for an added touch. I used the boycott turkey image in the layout. I thought it was so stinkin' cute of the turkey holding the Eat Ham picket sign.

Hey guys! I will be posting some projects tonight and tomorrow. I have been working extremely hard on 18 cards for a friend of mine. Between that, school, work, and home life, I haven't had much time for posting this week. Also, I am working on some projects using the Cardz TV Stamps that I think you will like.

I have been working with the Cricut Craftroom lately and I love it. It allows me to design my cards and scrapbook pages and getting an idea of how it would like in color. My Cricut Mini is arriving today and I am very excited about that. I own a lot of Cricut Machines, but this one, I think, is going to be more portable for me to carry to my mom's house. I will be coming out with some videos using the cricut craftroom. I am excited for what's ahead for me, not only in life, but in my crafting life too!

Hello everyone! Candice here with a card that I made for the Birthday Sundaes Challenge Blog. I am so happy that today is Thursday because tomorrow is a holiday for the Federal Government. I know exactly what I will be doing: making cards for a friend of mine.

The challenge this week is to make a Birthday Card aka Anything Goes as long as there is a birthday sentiment on the front of the card. I used SU! My Digital Studio to make this card. I have started slowly getting into digital crafting because as a single mom, full time student and worker, I just don't have the time to spend in my craftroom the way I will like. However, going digital allows me to create when I am at work (during lunch of course) and whenever I am traveling. It gives me my happy balance. I am still learning to use My Digital Studio and My Memories, but I am enjoying it as I go.

For this card, I used Certainly Celery for my card base. The "Make a Wish" tag is from the Happy Birthday Designer Kit. The cupcake image is from the Big Bold Birthday stamp set.

Happy Monday Everyone! I have some excited news! I have made the design team for Mary's CardzTv Stamps. This is my first time on a design team for a stamp line and I can not tell you how excited I am. I woke up this morning and something told me to check my emails, which is sent to my cell phone automatically. I saw an email from Mary and when I read it and saw my name, my heart just sunk in. I am usually very sluggish in the morning (especially if I only had 5 hours of sleep); but today, there was a pep in my step. I am truly thankful to Mary for selecting me for this term.

Happy Friday! This has been such an exhausting week for me. I am so happy for the weekend. I am going to have a long day today since I have a workshop to conduct tonight. It's beginning to look and feel like Autumn. It's challenge day over at Paper Cutz Challenge. This week's challenge is to "Turning Over a New Leaf" Make a card, LO or craft project for Fall using LOTS of leaves and any colors you'd like, EXCEPT NO GREEN or BLUE.

For my card, I used the Gently Falling Stamp set from SU! I created my own background paper using Tattered Angels glimmer mist and SU! re-inkers. I used the Cardz Tv Thankful for You Stamp set.

I used an embossing technique on the leaves background piece. For this technique, glossy paper is better suited because it's ability to absorb more of the ink.

Hello Crafty Friends! Emma over at My Creative Time is having her first ever DT Call. I have been following Emma since she was on the My Pink Stamper DT. When I saw that Emma was having a DT Call, I decided to create a project for submission.

I decided to make an interactive card that I seen on YouTube and wanted to try it out. I think that it came out fantastic. I used the Two Tags die from SU! to create this image of a present. I used the PBD Label stamp along with my 1 3/8" circle punch for the tag.

The present opens up to make some stairs. My card is telling someone "You are Fun, Paradise, and Love".

"In the Pink" As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so to help promote this worthy cause, let's make a card, LO or craft project for Breast Cancer Awareness month using PINK and any other colors you'd like.

I decided to make a card set to remind some friends to get their Breast Exams. I have one today. I am too young for a mammogram, but I am going to get them checked.

On to my project. I made three easel cards using the Shall We Dance Cricut Cartridge. Also, I used the Echo Park Be Mine paper collection. For the sentiments, I used the Pink By Design Breast Wishes. I have video below!

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a project for you today for the Cricut Cardz Challenge on Cardz Tv. Here is this week's challenge,

“Think Pink!” October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. To help promote this worthy cause, make a card for a friend or a loved one for Breast Cancer Awareness month. It can be a reminder card for self-exams and mammograms, a card congratulating a breast cancer survivor, or a card of encouragement for someone currently going through the trauma of breast cancer. Use any cartridges you'd like and use Pink as your primary color. After you've sent me your card photo and posted it to your blog, make sure you give your card to a friend or loved one!

For my card, I decided to make my first ever square joy fold card. I used the Sweetheart cricut cartridge for my image. For the card base, I used a 4.25 x 6.25 and scored at 4.25. I layered the card base with a 4 x 4 sheet of pattern paper from the Be Mine Collection from Echo Park. I added another card base layer cut out at 3 x 6 and scored at 3", which was layered with a 2.75" and 2.50" square pieces of pattern paper. I used dimensionals to pop up the image. Using my punches, I punched out the scalloped oval and the oval layer. I stamped the sentiment using Breast Wishes by Pink By Design. I popped it up using double dimensionals.

I can't seem to get enough of making Christmas Cards. I think I am making up for last year. This card I am submitting to the My Craft Spot DT Call. I made a standard A2 size card (4.25 x 5.50). I used the Christmas Carol stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper also from Stampin' Up! One thing I love about this stamp set is that you can either color it in or leave it as it is, which I did for the card.

Happy Friday Everyone!! I am so glad that the weekend is here. It's challenge day over at Paper Cutz Challenge. This week's challenge is "Keeper of the Crows" Make a card, LO or craft project for Fall using a hand stamped, digital stamped, or Cricut cut image of a scarecrow using Orange, Yellow, Brown, Black, Blue and White ONLY!

For my project, I decided to make a card. I did not have any images of crows, so I googled scarecrows images and I came across free digital images. I am not good at coloring with markers, so I colored my image with Prism color pencils and mineral spirit. I love how it came out. I used a card base from a pre-scored card pack I got from Hobby Lobby. I finally got the chance to use the Magic of Oz Graphic 45 paper pack. For some added embellishment, I used some Recollections Rhinestones.

Here is what I was inspired to make.

Super cute, right? I used the Rock Princess Cricut Cartridge for my image. I used the new Cardz Tv Stamp set for my sentiment. I added a button at the bottom and used Divine Twine to bring out the pattern paper.

Happy Wednesday! Blogger uploaded some new templates and I decided to give it a try. You have to click on the post's title to read the full post. You have to let me know what you think because I am unable to see the gadgets I had on the previous template.

Today is challenge day over at the CCC. Remember we are now over at Cardz TV. This week's challenge is “Hootie Halloween!” Make a card for Halloween using an owl from any cartridge(s), and using any colors you’d like. I couldn't decided on what to do on this project. At first, I was going to use the spooky owl from Happy Hauntings, but then I decided to use Hoot 'n' Holler cricut lite cartridge. I used the Cardz Tv Spooky Sayings stamp set. At the last minute, I decided to use some buttons I got from Hobby Lobby.

I have another post for you today! This project is for the MAG challenge. This week challenge is use page 105 of the Doodlecharms cricut cartridge. Before I show my project, MAG is having a design team call. Time has flown by so fast and this the last challenge for the current Design Team #1. Here are the requirements:

Submissions will be taken until Friday, September 30th@ 11:59pm (EST). All you have to do is:

1. Send an email with a link to your blog to magchallenge@gmail.com

2. Send a list of your Cricut cartridges

3. Create a new project that's never been posted (cannot be posted until after Oct. 7)

4. Use Create-a-Critter pg. 25 only for your project

5. Post a new project biweekly from Oct. 7 to Dec. 16. Be creative!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! I am visiting my mother for the weekend, so there will be no crafting. I did go to Hobby Lobby and picked up some idea books and of course I have my Gypsy, so I can at lease plan a couple of projects.

For my project I decided to do a layout using the Enjoy the Season Imagine Cartridge and Happy Hauntings. I even got a chance to use the Martha Stewart Dipping goo punch. For people who follow my blog, this is the second 10 weeks of halloween project for this week.

Happy Wednesday everyone! First, I want to inform everyone that the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog has moved to Cardztv. Also, I missed posting for my 10 Weeks of Halloween last week, so there will be two post this week.

Well, it's Monday. Usually Mondays are a drag for me, but today I actually have a strut in my step. I didn't get much crafting done this weekend because my daughter had strep throat and tons of homework to complete. I did manage to produce this card. I have been wanting to work with the Pink by Design Sew Lovely stamp set and pattern paper I got from Hobby Lobby.

Welcome to the Teddy Bear Blog Hop! Today is National Teddy Bear Day! First I would like to thank Jen for hosting this Blog Hop and allowing me the opportunity to participate. Now on to the project. I decided to make a scrapbook layout for my daughter. She loves teddy bears and I usually buy her some during Christmas. I used A Child's Year cricut cartridge for the bear (cut out at 4 inches) and the word "Beary" (cut out at 2 inches). I used sticker letters for the word "special". Using my Imagine, I cut a decorative label and used my Pink By Design Recipe Back stamp to make a journaling tag. The sentiment came from The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Word book.

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is enjoying the day off. Today, I have a card that I made for the Birthday Sundaes challenge. This technique came from Stamping School. I think the lady' name is Linda; however, when I saw the card, I had to make it. The only difference is that I added a birthday sentiment on the front of the card and rounded the edges. Good Morning everyone! I just wanted to let you know that Jen from Jen's Craft Corner is hosting a Teddy Bear Blog Hop on September 9th. If you didn't know, September 9th is National Teddy Bear Day. Here is some information on how it came about.

Teddy bears are, of course, named after US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. The name came about after a 1902 hunting expedition. The hunt had found no game, so at the end of the day someone brought out a baby bear and suggested that Roosevelt might like to shoot it instead. Roosevelt understandably felt that this was not exactly sporting and refused. The incident was illustrated in a newspaper cartoon entitled "Drawing the Line" - which also referred to the political situation at the time. An enterprising New York toymaker saw an opportunity and brought out a cute stuffed bear named "Teddy's Bear". The rest, as the say, is history.

Happy Friday! Yesterday was the start of the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini. I wanted to do some sneak peeks last month, but I just got my shipment last Friday.
